3rd FESTIVAL DE MÚSICA NO LÓGICA

New edition of NO-NO-LOGIC Music Festival in Barcelona – November 17, 27, 28 & 29, 2009

The cultural association La Olla Expréss is organizing « NO-NO-LOGIC”, its third music festival/independent labels meeting. As in the two past editions, it will be possible to experience experimental, dance, electro-pop, naive, electro-punk, deviant pop and electro-acoustic concerts and DJ sets.

The participating labels come from Italy, France, UK and Spain. Both the producers and « their artists » have been invited with the purpose of creating a space in which to share individual experiences, exhibit alternative works and enjoy unconventional music concerts. (The DJ sessions will be performed by some of the guest producers among others).

The concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will take place at La Fontana (Gran de Gràcia, 190, Barcelona, Spain).

For the festival preview, the MACBA will host the 1st CI-NE-NO-NO-LO-GIC session (free entrance) and an improvised concert by the festival crew members: “The Shower Sisters” (Eli Gras & Adele Madau) + Alain Wergifosse and Florenci Salesas, Tuesday November 17th. (Free entrance)

This year’s performances will feature the following outstanding artists and bands:
CLÓNICOS (Spain), PATRIC CATANI (Germany), NOVA HUTA & FRAU KRAUSHAAR (Germany), LES ANCIENS (Spain), CRISTIAN VOGEL (Spain), THIAZ ITCH (France), ANTORCHA AMABLE (Spain), DIE FUCHTELN (Austria), BARCELONA BAKALAO (Spain), TROUBLE VERSUS GLUE (Italy) and MAN FROM URANUS (UK).

NO-NO-LOGIC is a very intimate festival. Not only because of its size but also because the people who give life to all these little labels work in a very close-knit way, as if they were a family. For this reason we also refer to it as a Label Family Meeting.
